Things Bright Lane should know

Tell Bright Lane what's already in place or what doesn't apply. We read these notes every time we generate your Insights report or your Site Audit, and we use them to avoid suggesting things you've already handled or things that don't fit your business.

Keep it short and specific.

A few sentences of concrete facts, not paragraphs of context. We read this on every report - dense notes make recommendations worse, not better.

Helpful

  • We only serve Mecklenburg and Union counties.
  • No blog this year - skip blog suggestions.
  • Commercial clients only, no residential.
  • Phone is intentionally hidden; we use the form.

Skip

  • Your business backstory or mission statement.
  • Long explanations of why something matters.
  • Lists of every service you offer.
  • Stale notes - update when things change.

Pages your report reads

The kinds of page on your site, and which ones Bright Lane reads for your monthly report.

Each month Bright Lane reads a set of pages from your site for your report, picked from the kinds of page marked "Read" below. Your home page and the pages your keywords point to are always read. If something should be read, or shouldn't, ask Bright Lane. Last checked October 30, 2026.

Never read: archive listings (Categories). They only list other pages.
